Will Mounting Plates of Roadmaster Comfort Ride # RM-2470-2580 Work with 5/8 U-Bolts

Will the mounting plates work with 5/8 diameter U-bolts? Or is 9/16 the largest?

Hey Mike, so the max u-bolt diameter that the plates of the Roadmaster Comfort Ride part # RM-2470-2580 can fit as-is is 9/16 but there's no reason you couldn't drill them out bigger as needed. It would void the warranty on those plates though since you'd be modifying them.

Hey Mike, did you end up drilling out the plates on your Comfort Ride suspension kit to fit the 5/8-inch U-bolts? Your results could help others thinking about making the same change.
