Question:

Hello, do you have a hitch you can recommend for a 2025 Audi Q5 PHEV? I also need wiring with a 4 pin connector for the lights on my bike rack.

Hi Shawn; for your 2025 Audi Q5 PHEV I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C98JR. This is a Class III hitch with a 2" receiver and a bolt-on installation. It has a 750 lb max tongue weight which will be more than enough to handle your bike rack and bikes. The hitch also features a limited lifetime warranty.

For wiring we have the Tekonsha Powered Tail Light Converter w/ 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector and Install Kit # 119147KIT. This splices into your existing wiring and has a 4-way to power your bike rack lights. If you would rather not splice into the wiring on your PHEV you can use the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness #119250KIT instead which clamps onto the wires.

Hi Robin, I too am looking for a receiver hitch for a 2025 Audi PHEV. I see you have recommended the C98JR, but I wanted to note there is a comment under the confirmed to fit message saying, "excluding Plug-In Hybrid". I trust it will fit but wanted to ask upfront. Thanks.

@Greg the way our site lists a hitch like this often causes confusion so I'm happy to clarify. The hitch is listed as "Confirmed to fit 2025 Audi Q5" and then below it has "excluding Plug-In Hybrid" and directly below that "Plug-In Hybrid." All that is saying is that it fits PHEV models and it also fits models that are not the PHEV. This will work on your 2025 Q5 PHEV.
