Is it Normal for Gooseneck Ball of 2025 Ram 3500 to be Loose in Ball Socket
Updated 11/17/2025 | Published 11/29/2024 >
Question:
The generic gooseneck ball in my 2025 RAM 3500 is slightly loose, which causes chucking. Is that normal, or is there a gooseneck ball with a tighter fit?

Hey Kenton, so I wouldn't say it's normal to have that much chucking in your gooseneck ball that fits your OEM pucks of your 2025 Ram 3500. I would wonder if you have the wrong ball. For a replacement we have the Curt gooseneck ball part # C60618 which would fit nice and tight.

Hey Kenton, how did things turn out with the Curt gooseneck ball on your Ram 3500? Did it give you the tighter fit you were looking for and cut down on the chucking? Your update could make it easier for others dealing with the same issue.
