Can I Add a Receiver to My Curt Weight Distribution Shank?

I have a Curt Weight Distribution Shank for 2.5inch Hitches - 9-1/4inch or 10inch - 13inch Rise, Part Number: C17132 I want to put a reciever on it like Add-On Receiver for Blue Ox Adjustable 2inch Hitch Receiver Part Number: BLU94TR is there an option that will fit the C17132 and provide the hitch reciever capability like the Blue Ox PN and will fit?

Hello Scott.
No, the Curt Weight Distribution Shank for 2.5" Hitches # C17132 has not been tested with an extra receiver so it is not rated for one, so there is not one that will work with that shank.
To accomplish what you are trying to do, I recommend the Gen-Y Adjustable 2-Ball Mount w/ Stacked Receivers # 325-GH-924. Basically this part is going to turn your one receiver on the back of your Jeep into 4 receivers. It will be (4) 2 1/2" receivers, so if you are looking to add a hitch mounted accessory while using your weight distribution system, I know that most accessories are for a 2" receivers so you could add a Gen-Y Hitch Reducer Sleeve # 325-GH-007 to take it from a 2 1/2" receiver to a 2" receiver.
