Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 75549 Fitment With A 2009 Dodge Sprinter 2500 NCV3

Question:
Need to ask first to avoid any potential hassle. I have a 2009 2500 Dodge Sprinter NCV3 with Mercedes 3.0L diesel NO DEF, which apparently has a specific chassis seemingly unique and I say this as I have purchased items supposedly fitting the vehicle only to discover they did NOT actually fit the vehicle. Your vehicle filter indicates this model, 75549, will fit. Is there anything I can do to double check that before I pull the trigger or NOT as the case may be to purchasing one? VERY MUCH appreciate etrailer. Happy customer in the past. THANKS!!!

Hi Terry,
The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75549 is confirmed to fit 2500 models with a 144' Wheelbase or 170" wheelbase. It looks like the NCV3 comes in either of these wheelbases only so it would be a fit for your motorhome. There should be four mounting bolt holes in the frame that you can measure the spacing on and about 33-1/2" of space between the frame rails for the hitch to mount. Let me know what the bolt hole spacing is for you Sprinter and I'd be happy to check the # 75549 to make sure that falls within the spacing of the slotted mounting holes.

Hey Terry, did you get a chance to measure the bolt hole spacing on your Sprinter’s frame? Once you have those numbers, I can double-check that the Draw-Tite hitch lines up correctly. Let me know what you find—I’m here if you need a hand narrowing it down.
