Question:
I have a 2020 Subaru Crosstrek Premium looking for tire cables. I have 225/60R17 tires on right now and I have been looking at the recommendations and wanted to see if these would work: Part Number: TC343DC or TC1042

Hi Leigh,
The Titan Chain Cable Tire Chain # TC1042 are not a fit for your tire size but the Titan Chain Cable Tire Chain # TC343DC are. The owner's manual states not to use tire chains but if you absolutely have to then you'll need class S compatible chains. The # TC343DC are class S compatible but cable-style chains really aren't effective so I'd recommend the Konig Tire Chains # TH01221104 over them if you're going to use any.
These are also class S compatible and offer assisted tensioning so they'll be much easier to put on. I've attached a short video below where AJ will show you how they look on a 2019 Crosstrek so you can get a better idea.
