Hi Jeff; it looks like that kayak weighs 143 lbs so the # S512 will not be able to handle it. The max capacity for this J-style carrier is 99 lbs. Since this is a fishing kayak I recommend using a saddle-style carrier like the # RR581 instead. This can hold as much as your roof rack so as long as your roof rack can handle the kayak so can the carrier. If you really want to try to use a J-style we have the # e98878 which has a weight capacity of 150 lbs.

It's 95 lbs. 143lbs with it rigged. The seat and pedal drive are removed during transport.
