Question:
I have a 1.05 in axle trying to replace the hub with a 1in diameter bearing. Do I need a 1.05 inch bearing? The inner part of the bearing is 1in.

Hi Glenn,
If the spindle measures 1.05" in diameter where the bearing needs to sit then you would need to go with the same size bearing. Did you measure with a caliper # PTW80157 when measuring your spindle? Is your spindle straight or do you have different inner and outer bearings? What is the capacity of your trailer axle? What is the wheel bolt pattern for your hub? If there's any part numbers stamped into your bearings, grease seal, and hub those would also be helpful.
Let me know what you find and I can figure out the correct replacement parts for you.
