Will The Thule TopRide Roof Bike Rack TH75JV Work With A Trek Rail E-Bike?

would like to ask if the Thule TopRide Roof Bike Rack for 1 Bike - Fork Mount ca support Ebike Trek rail without battery?

Hello Mark, thanks for reaching out. I am not sure exactly what model of Trek Rail e-bike you have but looking online most of the Rail models weigh around 50-55 lbs. They do not mention the weight of the battery itself.
The Thule TopRide Roof Bike Rack for 1 Bike # TH75JV has a 40 lb weight capacity. You will need to be sure the weight of your bike with the battery removed is 40 lbs or less in order to use the rack. Also, the TopRide can accommodate tires up to 3" wide so you will want to make sure your tires do not exceed 3" wide. As long as you meet these criteria the rack will work for you. I will say that generally this kind of fork mount roof carrier would not be used for an e-bike. If this will not work for you just let me know and I am happy to recommend some other options.
