You might be able to swap the slider base for regular legs on your hitch but I would need to know which hitch you have, what it is rated for, and its approximate age. Depending on the hitch you have, you may need a different cross member too, # RP58147.
You mentioned a narrow stance which makes me think you have an older hitch that has mounting feet that are 10 inches apart on center. The cross member and legs are made to fit in the slots that are 20-1/2 inches apart on center.
