Can a 2014 Fiat Lounge with the dual shift. automatic to manual shifter be flat towed? Please advise. Very Important to know before investing in the car and tow package. Tim

Hey Tim, it sounds like your 2014 Fiat 500L would be classified as an automatic transmission but just so we are on same page the easiest way to know for sure is if your vehicle has a clutch pedal or not. If there it is a clutch is a manual and it can be flat towed with a base plate like the Roadmaster # RM-522014-5 and Tow Bar # RM-522.
If it is an automatic you'd have to use a tow dolly like the Demco Kar Kaddy SS part # DM9713045.

Hey Jameson, this FIAT500 has an automatic shift pattern, but has a PLUS sign on the shifter console, where you just move the shift handle to the right and the trans goes into manual mode. no clutch on the floor. so, can this be FLAT towed or not? I don't want to buy this car if there is any question about flat towing it. Tim T.
