Question:

I have a 2011 newmar baystar 2901 its on the f53 chassis with 38,000 miles. We just bought it and I feel like its all over the road I had all the normal stuff checked out. With $1,500 to spend whats the biggest bang Ill get for my buck? Steering stabilizer? Exact center? Rear sway bar? Front sway bar?

Hi Kurt; the best thing you can add to your 2011 Newmar Baystar 2901 is a rear anti-sway bar. Since you have a GVWR of 18,000 lbs you need the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1139-146. The next best addition would be a front anti-sway bar which is the # RM-1139-148. Adding the front will put you slightly over budget but having both is the best thing you can do to improve the ride.

The Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer # RM-RBK22-RSSA is really nice to have but won't make as much of a difference as the anti-sway bars. This is something I would consider adding at some point in the future when your budget allows for it.

Hey Kurt, how did things turn out after adding the rear anti-sway bar to your Baystar? Did you notice a big improvement in how it handles on the road? Your feedback could really help others trying to smooth out their ride on the same chassis.
