Correct Hub Setting for Yakima FullBack Trunk Bike Rack on a 2017 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack

Question:
I purchased the Yakima Fullback 2 for my 2017 VW Golf Alltrack wagon. I watched the installation videos, which were great, but I was confused by the yakima.com hub setting choices and just guessed that the number 2 setting might be correct but I don’t feel confident about that. I did install the rack but can you confirm that 2 is the correct setting? Thank you

Hey Deb, thanks for reaching out, and congrats on your newly acquired Yakima FullBack 2 Bike Rack # Y02634!
The correct Hub setting for your 2017 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack is 3 according to Yakima so you were pretty close, but you'll want to adjust the rack just a little more.
Yakima actually has a photo of the rack on a VW Golf with the correct setting so I'm posting that to this page so you can compare your final setup to what they say it should look like.
