Would the following be suitable and compatible? Curt 11487 trailer hitch and Swagman Trailhead Two bike rack for two mountain bikes on a 2005 Scion Xb? Thanks

The Curt Class I hitch you referenced, part # C11487 is indeed a fit for your 2005 Scion xB.

The Swagman Trailhead two bike model, part # S63360 would indeed be compatible with the hitch once it's installed on the vehicle. The Trailhead is my most-recommended bike rack, as it provides numerous features like padded anti-sway cradles and sturdy rubber straps that hold the bike to the rack, all at a great price. The rack includes an anti rattle hitch pin, but I would recommend the optional anti-rattle hitch lock/cable lock combo, part # S64031 which is sold separately.
