Will Rhino-Rack Sunseeker Awning Fit 14' Cargo Express Camper

Question:
I have a 14foot Cargo Express camper conversion. Wondering if this awning would be compatible? Theres about 4 3/4inch between the roof line and the top of the door.

Hi Tom; if you're wanting to fit it in that space above the door I can't say if it will work or not. The Rhino-Rack Sunseeker Awning # RR32133 is designed to fit on a roof rack, not directly on the side of the camper. If you tried to mount the brackets directly and had it hanging down over the door it would block the top of the door.
If you want you could add a roof rack like the Rhino-Rack Aero Bar Roof Rack # Y02-500B which would allow you to properly mount the awning on the top with plenty of clearance. This has 63" long track and 65" long crossbars so you would need to compare that to your camper to see if it will work.

Hey Tom, did you get a chance to compare the Rhino-Rack Aero Bar roof rack measurements with your camper? I'm curious if that setup gave you enough clearance for the Sunseeker awning. Your update could make it easier for others working on similar camper conversions.
