Recommended Trailer Wiring Harness for a 2017 Toyota Sienna LE

Question:
I have a 2017 Sienna LE...I need a wiring harness...what is the harness you recommend?...I have also seen that some people wire into the rear 12v plug instead of running wire to the battery....is that an option for power?

Hey Robert, so for your 2017 Toyota Sienna you can use the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56106 you were looking at but you are going to need to run that 12v power wire to the battery. This is to isolate it from any shorts from the trailer side from the vehicle. So, if there was a short it would blow the power wire fuse or converter, but would not affect the vehicle electrical system.
