How far down will this be dropped from the crossbars when lowered?

Hey Hugh, when the MOS UpLift Roof Rack Lift Assist w/ Kayak Tie-Down Kit # MR89ZV is in the lowered position it would be 2 feet lower than the top of your crossbars.
