Understand this carrier is rated for bikes with wheels as small as 26”. Have you had any experience using it with a 24” kids MTB?

Hello Bob, thanks for reaching out. We do have a bike rack option for you, but the Thule Helium Platform XT Bike Rack # TH53GC is not recommended for kits bikes with 24" wheels. The upright arms are made for wheels as small as 26", so they are not going to safely secure a 24" wheel.
A better option is the Kuat NV 2.0 Base Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # BA22B. This can accommodate tires as small as 20" Children's Bike Adapter # 016-025-00-00 which is included with the rack. The NV 2.0 is a great rack. it is very durable and user friendly. It can hold bikes weighing up to 60 lbs apiece and it will work with virtually any frame style. I have been using one as my personal rack for over 4 years now and I am very happy with it. It looks good on the back of the car too.
