Is the Connector of the K-Source Towing Mirror # KS62076G Long Enough to Install in 2005 Silverado
Published 05/22/2014 >
Question:
Dear Sir, I have a 2005 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD. I observed a video on the replacement procedure. It showed a 3 foot pigtail that plugs into the door. The picture of this unit shows a short pigtail. Does the chevy version have the required pigtail? Advise,

Helpful Expert Reply:
The harness of the K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirror # KS62076G is longer than it appears in the pictures and is long enough to install into your 2005 Chevy Silverado.
If you check out the picture I attached you will see that the harness actually wraps around the mirror in the pictures and that is why it appears shorter than it actually is.
