Question:
Does this model include a clutch in the gearbox? I have seen this recommended as a replacement for the Atwood MPD 71119 motor used in camper jacks. My 1997 Lance camper has Atwood electric ball screw jacks, and the motor is the MPD 71119 see picture. The gearboxes on my jacks include clutches to disengage motion at the end of travel. I did not see mention of a clutch in the description for this part, although it is mentioned for similar parts such as LC241795.

At one point people were recommending Lippert and LCI brand motors to replace the Atwood motors but since then we've learned they are different. Atwood basically got out of the jack business so we don't have a replacement motor we can recommend. This would be time for a new setup altogether like the part # LG-1.
