Why does this unit not come with th mounting kit and where and how much would that be?

Hey Kevin, thanks for reaching out!

The Dometic Penguin II High Capacity RV Air Conditioner w/ Heat Pump # DMC68ZR is used as a replacement AC unit so you would reuse the hardware that you currently have. The Penguin II will come with a new gasket for the roof so you would be good to go in those regards.

If you're needing the air distribution box as well then you would get the Dometic Air Distribution Box # DMC43ZR which comes with the hardware.

I'm not sure why these aren't kitted together yet at this point in time.
