Easy to Adjust the TV Angle
When you get to the campsite after dark and want to unwind with a good movie, you can easily adjust this mount so you can view your TV from any spot in the room. If your TV is crammed into a corner, simply pull the handle at the bottom of the mount to swing it away from the wall up to 180 degrees. This makes it easier to see the TV screen than you could with mounts that extend straight forward.
You can also almost fully swivel the mount around 350 degrees. This means that the whole family will be able to see the screen wherever they are in your RV living space, whether you want to watch a movie while folding laundry or the kids want to watch one of their favorite shows while eating lunch at the dinette table.
The mount can also tilt downward up to 10.5 degrees. This is perfect for reducing the glare on your screen on a sunny day or entertaining the kiddos while they play on the floor during a rainy day.
How to Measure Your TV for VESA Mounting Patterns
VESA is an industry standard for measurements given in millimeters used to mount TVs. Most modern TVs use this standard, but you need to know your TV's mounting pattern to select the correct mount. To find this pattern, use a ruler to measure the distance between mounting holes on the back. You can measure in centimeters, keeping in mind that 10cm equals 100mm.

If your TV's mounting pattern requires a different configuration, you can use one of MORryde's TV mount adapter plates (MR43ZR - sold separately) to get the right fit. The plates are installed on the mount to adapt for TVs that call for a 300mm x 300mm or 400mm x 400mm VESA pattern. Be mindful of the mount's weight limitations.

Hi everyone, Steven here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at our Morryde RV TV wall mount. Now folks, this features a swing, swivel and tilt functions, and it's rated for 25 pound capacity. It is a nice heavy duty steel construction, and again, you're gonna use this to mount your RV's flat screen TV to the wall or to a basement cargo compartment door. Now I just have everything kind of loosely on here, so keep in mind this would be obviously tightened down, et cetera. As you can see, this is the main plate where your TV would mount using the VESA mounting patterns, and they fit everything from 75 millimeter by 75 millimeter all the way up to 200 millimeter, et cetera.
So you can look at all those different fits on the product page. Basically, whenever it's closed, it's locked in place until you pull this chain here. That's gonna allow that safety latch to come undone. It can then swing open. Let me zoom out here so you can see it better.
It can swing open all the way out here, and this side can pivot so you can literally be able to see your television whatnot from all different angles. And then again, this can still pivot up or down as well once you have everything tightened down the way you could pivot that as well. So very, very nice heavy duty design. It's a powder-coated, durable steel construction, so you shouldn't have to worry about rust, corrosion, anything like that. It is a simple bolt-on installation with included mounting hardware.
You will have to do some drilling, most likely wherever you're gonna mount this to obviously drill the holes needed to put your bolts and stuff in. Wow, this filled the bill for me. It is heavy duty and allows me to extend the tv so that everyone can see the total screen from the coach. It also has a positive lock when traveling down the road. Glad I purchased it.

Very sturdy.
I think it was a returned item. The plastic seal wrap was opened and parts of the mount had some scratching and gouging in the powder coat. Also it wasn’t completely “square” and “true” when in the folded position. I had to shim one side of it so that the tv wasn’t crooked when in the folded and locked position. But, I made it work with a few dollars worth of shim hardware and the scratches can’t be seen when in the travel position. I will touch up the powder coat with some semi gloss black paint.

This is a well built mount for our TV. It works very well providing excellent support and adjustability. The only thing that could have helped is a template or guide. Our install was challenging due to the angle of the cabinet that I was mounting the TV. This created a little challenge for my install, but was not the fault of the mount. My recommendation is to mark the center line on the cabinet and use that to find the best mounting position. Overall, I'm very happy with this mount and our final install looks great! I have shopped for an RV wall-mounted TV Mount for some time. Ultimately decided on the MORryde RV TV Wall Mount (Model MR38DR) - Swing/Swivel/Tilt - 50 lb. Capacity - Steel. RV walls are as many know, near paper-thin, and "studs" are few and far apart, if you can even find one, and most likely, it will not be found where it is best to mount the TV. I narrowed my choices but needed one (1) additional piece of information, i.e., how much does the TV Mount itself weigh right out of the box - was not to be found anywhere in the literature. It is, after all, a key component in determining the Total Weight to be hung on the wall. Wrote etrailer over the weekend, and first thing Monday morning, I received a response, made my decision, and immediately ordered the Product. Couldn't be happier.
Overall this is a very well constructed mount. Purchased it to mount a 32 inch SMART TV in my truck camper. A homemade template was used of the base bolt/ hole layout.It made it easier as you aren't working with the weight of the mount and trying to position the mount. The one deficiency was with the mounting hardware, the bolts supplied and what was needed to mount my display were not long enough, fortunately I had what I needed from previous mounts. For the price it is still worth it. There might be a trip to the hardware store
