Why Does The Yakima EXO Swing Away Cargo Carrier Come With 2 Extra Locks?

What are the 2 extra core locks used for and what keys fit them?

Hello Gregory. The Yakima EXO Swing Away Cargo Carrier # Y72VR comes with 2 extra locks just to use as spares. So like if the hitch lock ever went bad and needed to be replaced, you will have what you need. The extra locks should be keyed to the same number as all the other locks.

@Gregory The EXO system has a lot of other accessories, so the idea is if you buy another accessory, you can have it lock using the same key. Also, there should be a key number on the face of the lock or on the key itself. Make sure you write this key number down and keep it somewhere safe. You will need it if you ever need to get new keys or locks.
