Question:
HI - I have a sway control equalizer hitch. I tow a 23’ NASH trailer max trailer weight about 8500. The hitch assembly includes the shank that slides into the reciever. But, I need to raise the ball about 1” and the hitch is already at the top of the shank the shank has the long leg up. Do you have a longer shank available?

Hey Steve,
We offer the following Equal-i-zer replacement shanks rated for that weight:
7" Rise # EQ90-02-4100
8" Rise # EQ90-02-4200
10" Rise # EQ90-02-4300
13" Rise # EQ90-02-4400
15" Rise # EQ44FR
You'll need to check the amount of rise your current shank offers to determine which would be the next step up.

Hey Steve, how did things go with the new Equal-i-zer shank for your hitch setup? Did the extra rise give you the clearance you needed for your NASH trailer? Your update could make it easier for others working on a similar towing setup.
