will these lights operate on 6 volts?

Hello Fred. The Optronics LED Trailer Clearance or Side Marker Light # MCL55AB is made to work with 12v systems, so this will not operate on only 6 volts. If you have 6v batteries you would need to wire two of them in series in order to power a 12v light.
