Is this for 1/2 inch threads or 5/8 hitch lock pin I bought a 5/8 hitch lock pin and it to big for anti lock nut inside Yakima rack

Hey David, the Replacement Hitch Bolt Threaded Insert for Yakima HangOver Bike Carriers # Y77TR takes a 5/8" hitch bolt # Y52FR.

I'm not too sure why that bolt would be too big because it's designed for this part, it makes me wonder if you maybe got the wrong size bolt.

What is the proper nut to accept the hitch pin I bought the 5/8 hitch pin and a 1/2 inch hitch pin from swagman Neither one will thread into yakama rack 5/8 is to big 1/2 inch is wrong threads What receiver nut do I need

@DavidG David, you need the Replacement Anti-Rattle Hitch Pin # Y52FR from Yakima, not Swagman. This pin does not use a nut, it uses the included clip which snaps around the end of the bolt to keep it secured.
