Do I Need Two Vacuum Breakers to Install a Hand Sprayer on a Dometic 320 Toilet?

Updated 08/13/2024 | Published 08/10/2024

Question:

I want to add a sprayer to my Dometic 320. The kit comes with an air gap. As the 320 already has an air gap, do I need both? Can I just add a tee to the supply line and attach the sprayer from there?

Haven't heard the term air gap before so I am hoping you mean the vacuum breaker. If so the answer is no, you do not need them both. The vacuum breaker on the Hand Sprayer Installation Kit item # DOM75FR will replace the one on your Dometic 320 item # DOM87FR.

I linked the installation instructions below so you can see how to get the sprayer item # DOM75FR set up. As far as just adding a tee to the supply line, I am going to say no as far as this kit goes because it doesn't have the right fittings and we're told to follow the directions.

Jerred, thanks for your prompt response. I ordered and installed the 320. While the original amazon ad said that the hand sprayer was included this one did not, so I ordered the sprayer separately. All I got was the sprayer with the attached hose...nothing else. I would like to return that order and get the complete kit as described in the installation directions. but I can't find that kit on Amazon?

@DaryleA I am not sure what you're wanting me to do here Daryle. This isn't Amazon we actually have people to help our customers and give them the answers they need so they can purchase the correct parts. The hand sprayer for the Dometic 320 toilet is item # DOM75FR. It's got everything you need! Good thing Amazon does free returns!
