Can The Yakima EXO Swing Away Y54ZR Be Used With A 2-1/2" Hitch Receiver?

I have a 2022 Ram 2500 4x4, with 2.5 in receiver. Will this system work on my truck? Also, does it have a locking pin for the receiver to prevent theft?

Hello Mike. According to Yakima, the EXO Swing Away # Y54ZR cannot be used with a 2-1/2" hitch receiver, and they call this out in their literature. The 2-1/2" hitch would require an adapter, and they very specifically state the EXO system cannot be used with hitch adapters.
To answer your other question, Yakima does offer a lock for the anti-rattle hitch pin, part # Y07235. This is sold separately from the EXO system.
