Does The Curt X5 B&W Turnoverball To Base Rail Adapter Require Additional Supports

Question:
I have a question regarding the curt x5 5th wheel adapter. When I install that in my gooseneck does that plate need supports under the bed and does that need to be bolted down. Its in a 2004 f350. Thank you

Hey Damien,
The Curt X5 5th Wheel Base Rails Adapter for B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitches # 16310 is only attached to the bed via the gooseneck hitch and wouldn't require additional supports or for the rails to be bolted to the bed. You would just need to drop it into the gooseneck hitch and slide the locking pin for the gooseneck hitch in through it to secure it in place.
