Question:
I am considering buying a 2021 BMW X5 with the M sport package. It looks like the Stealth model SH89VR is the right option. My question is: it looks like I can buy the trailer ball hitch and wiring separately. How hard is it to install that wiring for tge ball hitch if the hitch has already been installed? Should I get the wiring installed when the hitch is installed?

Hey Jeff, thanks for reaching out!
The Stealth Hitches Trailer Hitch # SH89VR is the correct kit for accessories with your 2021 BMW X5. Since this does require removing the bumper for the installation it's definitely worth going ahead and getting the full kit as part # SH25VR so you don't have to tear back into the vehicle just to add the wiring at a later date.
If you weren't sure about towing then I'd say leave it, but since it sounds like you will eventually be towing, you'll save more time (and money if a shop is doing the install) in the long run by getting all of it installed now.

Hey Jeff, how did things go with the Stealth hitch and wiring on your X5? Did you end up getting the full kit installed together? Your update could make it easier for others planning a similar setup.
