Question:
I have an old home made trailer with a missing hub. Autozone thinks its a 1950 Ford car drum hub. I dont plan to use the brakes, so Im looking for a hub only, or drum hub. Below is what I know: Inter-race is Timken 15245 Inter-bearing is Timken 15123 Outer-race is Timken 09195 Outer-bearing is Timken 09067 5-lug with 4.5inch bolt pattern I believe the inter-race to be 4 3/8inch to end of spindle I believe the ourter-race to be 2inch from the end of the spindle my caliper battery died, but the spindle registers 1.3 on the caliper scale. I dont care if its a drum-hub, or just a hub. Do you have anything that might work? What other info is needed to make a determination? Thank you,

I looked through our selection of hubs and hub/drums, and couldn't find anything compatible with the bearings you mentioned.
This leaves you with two alternatives. Number one would be to cut off your existing spindles and install spindles like # TRU84FR that would be compatible with a standard hub like # 84545BX. The hub has the same number of lugs and bolt circle as your existing hubs, so you could use the same wheels. Removing the old spindles and welding the new ones into place is best left to a professional welder who is highly experienced in welding on axles and trailer/RV work. It is crucial that the spindles be welded so they are perfectly square.
Your other alternative would be to completely replace your existing axle, to one that is compatible with a 3500 lb capacity hub like the one I mentioned above. We could have an off-the-shelf axle that will work for your needs. In order to determine that, I'll need two measurements from your existing axle. I'll need the hub face to hub face dimension and the spring seat to spring seat dimension (center to center).
If we don't have something that would work for you, you'll need to order a custom axle. If you'd care to reply with your location, I'd be happy to put you in touch with somebody in your area who could order the axle for you.
