Is There Vent With Thetford C223CS Cassette Toilet

Does this vent? or is just through the toilet opening when you flush? I am wanting to have tank accessible from the inside to avoid cutting a hole in the outside of the trailer. Would this be ok or would it vent gas into the trailer this way and have a smell?

Hi Justin,
The Thetford C223CS Cassette Toilet # TH62YE doesn't vent, it simply has a lever that you use which closes the waste valve to curtail odors. People do use cassette toilets without having outside access so it's something you can do. You'll want to empty it when possible though as there can be odor, of course, and Thetford also recommends cleaning it regularly with Aqua Clean # TH77HE.
