Can SnapPad HiWay Plus Jack Pads for HWH Leveling Systems Be Rotated to Avoid Frame Member
Updated 08/14/2024 | Published 08/06/2024 >
Question:
Just received and installed my snap pads from etrailer. The front pads on my 2014 Tiffin Phaeton hit on a frame member and cause the jack feet to tilt and block the jacks from fully retracting the last 3/4”. I have them aligned with the wide notches to the spring attach points. I am thinking I should rotate and have one notch on each pad line up with the frame member to allow clearance. Any suggestions?

Thanks for your purchase of the SnapPad HiWay Plus Jack Pads # SP34FR64, Mark!
If rotating the SnapPads allows them to still be secured to your jacks and have enough clearance to avoid the frame member then I say go for it. Each application is different so SnapPad tries to focus on having the pads fit with specific feet designs.

I rotated the front snap pads 90° and they now clear the frame member and do not interfere with jack retraction. They still slightly snug to the member so they should not be moving when in transit. All good here!
