Question:
Hi, I’m looking to replace my existing water heater Atwood GC6AA-9E in our 2001 SunnyBrook 24CKFS 5th wheel. I would want a white door. Our unit is 12 5/8” x 16 1/4” x 17 5/8”. Any recommendations? Thanks Dan

Hello Daniel, thanks for reaching out. We do have options for replacing your Atwood GC6AA-9E water heater. I suggest going with a tankless unit, and for that I recommend the Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater # FR68SR. This unit comes with an 18"x18" white door. The main difference is this unit is smaller than your Atwood unit at 12-3/4" tall x 12-3/4" wide x 19-7/8" deep, so you will have to build out the cutout to accommodate the smaller unit. I have linked an install video for your below.

Hey Daniel, how did the swap to the Furrion tankless water heater go in your SunnyBrook? Did the smaller size work out once you built out the cutout? Your update could make it easier for others replacing an Atwood unit.
