Do I Need A Stop Light Switch For A 2011 Mini Countryman Using Roadmaster Even Brake System

2011 mini countryman S Setting it up to flat tow. Base plate installed. Roadmaster universal wiring kit installed and working. Im now working on setting up the Roadmaster Even Brake system. I am unclear if I Need a stop light switch kit. Hoping you can point me in the direction of someone knowledgeable. Roadmasters online vehicle guide says the 2012 countryman needs it, but does not mention 2011.

Hello Tanner. I double checked with Roadmaster and they do recommend using a stop light switch for the 2011 Mini Countryman. The recommended stop light switch is part # RM-751440 which is custom fit for your vehicle.

Hey Tanner, how did things go with adding the stop light switch on your 2011 Mini Countryman? I'm curious if the Roadmaster switch worked smoothly with your Even Brake setup. Your update could make it easier for others setting up a similar system.
