Difference Between Dexter DX7.5L A-60 Brake Actuator and Replacement Inner Member
Updated 02/03/2026 | Published 07/18/2024 >
Question:
I see that the weld on actuator assembly which includes the inner member DX93FR is $294. DX39FR is the inner member and can be bought separately, however it is $374. I only need the inner member, but it seems like I should buy DX93FR and just toss the extra parts? Is this an error, or perhaps are you trying to just move some slow moving inventory. I have single axle disc brakes with solenoid. Inner member UFP 34043. Thanks.

Hi David; more often than not it is related to the cost, so in this case what Dexter is charging as the manufacturer. This isn't the first time the complete part is cheaper than a replacement so I recommend doing what you said and buying the complete # DX93FR and disregarding what you don't need.

Hey David, how did things go with the complete Dexter actuator you decided to get? It’d be great to hear if that worked out well for your single axle disc brake setup. Your update could make it easier for the next person facing the same pricing issue.
