Is Viair Portable Air Compressor a Good Choice For Motorhome on Mercedes Sprinter Chassis

Question:

I currently have an RV built on a 2017 Mercedes Sprinter 3500 and will be trading it in for an RV built on a 2024 Mercedes Sprinter 3500 later this year. I am looking for a portable tire inflator that will be compatible with both Sprinters. Would the Viair 7-Way air compressor VA33JR work with the Sprinter and be your recommended choice? Both Sprinters have a 7-way connector and I like the idea of not having to hook a compressor up to the RV battery. I am just not sure this air compressor works with all 7-way connectors......Thanks!

I'll tell you what, if I had to choose a single compressor for my Class C motorhome it would, without hesitation, be the Viair 7-Way Automatic RV Portable Air Compressor for Class C RVs # VA33JR.

The # VA33JR will 100 percent work with the 7-way on your Sprinter 3500 (both the 2017 and 2024 models), and that easy connection that you (correctly) noted saves you the trouble of hooking up to your battery is exactly why I'd go with this compressor over any other.

I'm a big believer in simplifying things if at all possible, and that's exactly what this compressor does.
