Troubleshooting MaxxAir Deluxe Fan Opening, Beeping and Then Closing Back Up
Updated 02/03/2026 | Published 07/06/2024 >
Question:
We have two max air deluxes installed in our van. One is working fine and the other was working fine for a few months, but now when turned on it will open all the way, beep once every 5 seconds and flash green and then shut itself closed again. We checked the voltage and it seems to be between the 13.8 and the 12 voltage limit.

Since it sounds like your fan motor is not coming on I would start by testing for power going to the motor. This will help you to determine if you have a wiring short, bad motor or bad circuit board. If you can verify which model fans you have I can verify the correct replacement parts.
