Question:

OK, I have a 2003 dodge ram and I am towing a 2009 Rockwood popup HW. I want to take bikes with us and the bumper on the pop up cannot support the weight. So I was thinking of seeing if they made a combo bike rack and then had the ball behind that for the pop up to hitch on to. I did not see any. Then I saw your product. Could I put that into my receiver, put a bike rack in the top one, the ball n the bottom one and tow? Do they even make a receiver that is a bike rack and then the ball?

We do have a few different items that you could use to tow the pop up and carry bikes at the same time but the Roadmaster dual receiver # RM-077-2 is only for flat towing (towing a vehicle behind a motor home).

The first option you have is to use a towing bike rack. We have several different options for towing bike racks and I have included a link to them for you. The towing racks we carry handle from 2 to 4 bikes depending on the model. Some require an extra long ball mount and will say so, if required, in the description along with relevant ball mount part numbers.

The other option is to use a multipurpose ball mount, # D210. This is a ball mount with a 2 inch receiver welded on top. The receiver has a tongue weight capacity of 350 pounds and the ball mount portion 750 pounds. This means that the combined weight of the bike rack, bikes, and trailer tongue weight cannot exceed 750 pounds. I have included a link to a video review of the multipurpose ball mount for you.
