Recommended Roof Rack For A 2021 Subaru Crosstrek With A Thule Hull-a-Port Pro Kayak Carrier

I have a 2021 Subaru Crosstrek with factory installed raised roof rack that runs from front to back. I also have Thule Hull A Port Pro. What crossbar is best fit? I was looking at Malone Aero but not sure clamp will fit. I would prefer to use the clamps vs. T-slot for easier removal. Thanks

Hey Dennis,
The Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack # MPG215 is good for first timer, limited-use applications. I've seen the connection point between the feet and crossbar fail too many times to trust this roof rack for routine use with kayaks/canoes so I'd have to recommend you go with a different branded roof rack like one from Rhino-Rack:
Rhino-Rack RX Leg for Vortex Crossbars and Pioneer Platforms # RR97AP
Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars - 46" Long # RRVA118B-2
This rack would clamp to your Crosstrek's raised rails and would be compatible with the clamps on the your Thule Hull-a-Port Pro kayak carrier.
