Can LockRack Universal Crossbar Adapters Be Used To Attach To a T-Bone Bed Extender?

Question:

Heres my situation. I have 2 16 sea kayaks and a 2008 Toyota Tacoma with access cab and a 6 bed. Im looking at the Boonedox bed extender which has a 2 crossbar. I have 4 Yakima Landshark kayak saddles that I would love to attach to the T-Bone but Im having trouble finding a good way to do that. I came across the LockRack Watersport Carrier Universal Crossbar Adapters on your site, could that work for me or do you have another suggestion?

The LockRack Watersport Carrier Universal Crossbar Adapters # LR53FR being designed for traditional roof mounted crossbars are only able to open up to 1-1/2" tall. You could use longer screws to account for the additional height but this is not something we have tested to work for your application and the mounts may roll on the round bar due to the design. We really don't have anything specifically designed for your application.
