Does CE Smith Multi Sport Kayak Trailer Have Grease Schedule

Question:
Hi.... I bought the Multi sport Kayak trailer. Love it. What is the recommendation on the wheel bearing maintenance? Also, should I invest in bearing buddy? Thanks

Hey David, glad you like the CE Smith Multi Purpose Plus Boat trailer part # CE48870! There isn't a grease schedule or anything for the hubs/bearings of the trailer. It really just comes down to how often you use the trailer but you might periodically repack the bearings. The standard recommendation is once a year or every 12k miles repack them.
I don't really care for Bearing Buddies though as they make it too easy to overfill the hubs and blow out grease seals actually.
