Updated 02/03/2026 | Published 06/28/2024

Question:

i have a 2024 Highland Ridge Roamer 364bhs with a SW6DELC water heater and want to swap to a tank-less. Is there one that would fix the old hole? if not what all would i need to do a change over?

Hello Taylor,

It is possible (and likely), but you'll have to measure your Ridge Roamer's hole (we don't have any way to know the size of the hole); if your hole measures a minimum of 12-3/4" wide, 12-5/8" tall, and 23-1/2" deep you can use the Furrion tankless heater. The Suburban heater you mentioned gave similar dimensions, but wasn't quite as deep which is why it's important to measure the hole.

I'm assuming the hole will be large enough, and from there it's just a matter of picking the right door size. The SW6DELC does not have a door size attached to it so you again need to measure and can choose from the Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater - 16" x 16" Door # FR98SR, 16" x 18" Door # FR48SR, or 18" x 18" Door # FR68SR.

Hey Taylor, did you get a chance to measure the opening on your Roamer for the tankless water heater swap? Once you had the dimensions, were you able to find a Furrion model and door size that fit well? Your update could make it easier for others planning the same upgrade.
