Can Trailer Jacks be Used to Help Stabilize Trailer
Published 06/27/2024 >
Question:
Can I use the aluminum square screw jacks on my 2008 Winnebago access motorhome to stabilize it from rocking when camping. Not leveling just stabilizing and if so best place to snug up a stabilizer.

I am not totally sure what you are referring to so it's hard to say but if you have jacks on your trailer they can generally be deployed to help with stabilization.

As I indicated in my first question I have a 31 ft Winnebago that rocks back and forth when we are parked. If the dog gets up at night we can feel the coach sway. My question is can I use a trianglular screw jack just to stabilize the coach not level it and can i put those screw jacks an the bottom of the sides of the coach in four areas (front and back) and not worry about damaging the fiberglass shell?
