Can you help me identify ALL the bits and pieces I need to install to add trailer towing to a 2024 BMW X1 x28I? I am aware of Item SH55VR. That gets me hitch and 4-wire. I need to convert the 4-wire to 7-wire and add a wireless or wired brake controller. Thank you.

Hey Jeff,
If you go with the Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Towing Kit # SH55VR then you'll need the # ETBC7L to transition from the 4-pole connector to a 7-way. From there you'll need a brake controller like the Curt Echo # C51180. This plugs right into the 7-way and will connect to the to your trailer's 7-way cable. It has an app that you you'll use to setup your brake settings and then will automatically activate the brakes in proportion to how fast the vehicle decelerates.
