Question:

Does this work with Curt e98874 cargo carrier? Having difficulty getting pins in and out especially when folding carrier in up position

Hello Steve, thanks for reaching out. The etrailer Cargo Carrier # e98874 does use a 5/8" pin, so yes the Curt Clevis Pin # C45804 will work with it. The grab handle on the pin will make removing it much easier. I have found that if you lift up slightly on the cargo carrier when you try removing the pin it can help it come out easier.

Hey Steve, how did things go with the Curt clevis pin and your etrailer cargo carrier? Did the handle make it easier to get the pin in and out when folding the carrier up? Your update could make it easier for others with the same setup.

@JesseM - The Curt Clevis pin made the process of removing the pin from the cargo carrier very much easier. I think that is because the loop handle provides a much larger surface area to grasp.
