Is this bumper compatible with a flat tow setup, and if so, would I still need a baseplate like Roadmaster 521453-5 or would I need adapters in lieu of baseplate? If adapters, which ones? Thanks! Duncan

Since the Rampage Mass Articulation Front Recovery Bumper # RA88509 is not rated for flat towing you would still need a base plate like the Roadmaster # RM-521453-5 to flat tow your 2021 Jeep Wrangler.
I recommend the following parts for flat towing your Jeep. First the Roadmaster Nighthawk All-Terrain Tow Bar # RM-676 which you will likely also need the Adjustable Drop Hitch # BLU28XR to keep the tow bars within 3" of level. The Roadmaster Accessory Kit # RM-9284-2 will contain the wiring for the tail lights along with locks, lube, a cover and carrying case. You will also need the Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25 to prevent a supplemental braking system from draining your battery.
Depending on your RV you will be flat towing with you will either want the Demco Stay-IN-Play Duo Braking System # DM86VR which is for RV's with hydraulic brakes. Or the Demco Air Force One Flat Tow Brake System # DM26VR for RV's with air brakes.

Hey Duncan, how did everything go with setting up your Wrangler for flat towing using the Roadmaster base plate and tow bar? Your update could make it easier for the next person trying to pair that bumper with a flat tow setup.
