Recommended Hitch Adapter for a Honda Odyssey w/ a 2" Receiver

Updated 02/17/2026 | Published 06/17/2024

Question:

I have a trailer hitch on my honda odyssey mini van and I want to get an adapter so that when it comes out of the 2 hole, it goes up so that I can put my bike rack on from the higher point. As it is, my rack hits the ground when I go over low points. I bought the trailer hitch from you

So long as you already have a 2" hitch receiver you can use the Curt Multipurpose Ball Mount with 2" Receiver item # D210. This would be the easiest and least expensive way to add some height to your bike rack. It will add 3-9/16" from the top of shank to bottom of the accessory receiver without sticking out too far or lower affecting your ground clearance.

Hey, how did the Curt multipurpose ball mount work out on your Odyssey for raising the bike rack? Did it give you enough clearance over those low spots? Your update could make it easier for others dealing with the same issue.
