How to Pick Between 63 and 69 inch Solera Powered Awning Conversion Kit

Published 06/13/2024

Question:

I am going to purchase the conversation kit to convert my manual awning on my 1998 Holiday Rambler Endeaver motorhome. Is the difference between the 63” and the 69” support arms determined by whether which one fits on the side of the coach? Also, is there an access hole at the top of the support arms as I am going into the upper cabinets on the inside of the MH?

Hey Ken, yes the key to picking between the two is which is going to fit better on the side of your camper. You can measure the height of the arms you have now and they will most likely be either 63 inch or 69 inch and you go then go with either the 69-inch arm # LC759517 or the 63 inch Arm # LC759516.

Hi Jameson. Thanks for your quick reply. I need to know (for my wife’s sake) when both the 69” and the 63” are fully extended before any pitch adjustment, what is the difference in the height of the awning tube between the two? She’s afraid of blocking our view from inside the coach.

@Ken The height difference is hard to get but the 63 inch version is much flatter so it would obstruct the view a bit less.
