2019 Land Rover Discovery is Sagging When Towing
Updated 02/17/2026 | Published 06/09/2024 >
Question:
Have a 2019 Land Rover Discovery SE with the non air shock options. So the rear has shocks and coil springs with jounce bumpers inside them. Can I get an air helper bag that will work with them and cut off the join e bumpers? Getting a lot of sag towing even though it can handle over 8k towing.

Hello Ed,
I'm sorry to say there are not any air bags or rear suspension upgrades available for your 2019 Land Rover Discovery. If you are having issues with sag, you remedy that with a weight distribution hitch, so long as the hitch on your Land Rover is rated to be used with weight distribution.
For that you'd just need to know the loaded tongue weight of your trailer, and that tongue weight should be in the middle of with the WDH is rated for. For example, if your loaded tongue weight was 675 lbs you could use the Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution # BXW0750, which is rated for 550 lbs - 750 lbs of tongue weight.
I have added a link below to our entire selection of weight distribution, which you can filter through by tongue weight capacity.
